Reviews
This is the only Bahn Mi I have liked in the Seattle area. Bread is fresh and soft, pork is flavorful with pickled veggies.
Other very popular places I have been disappointed with hard bread, not enough meat or veggies, too much mayonnaise. This place is exactly what I expect, and not overpriced.
Hands down the best pork belly banh mi sandwich around. I ordered it spicy, and it did not disappoint. Just the right amount of spicy, not too hot to where it melts your face. But enough to know it was spicy. Highly recommend...
Delicious handcrafted vietnamese food and pastries. The small menu reflects how much care is put into what is served.
Best banh mi in Seattle!!! Especially if you dine in, they’ll toast the banh mi and any bakery item you get. We also got a coconut pandan crossaint and it was so good too! So hard to find pandan here so we were so glad they sell them! Pho bac had a giant bone and it was delicious!!!
One of the best bahn mis (if not the best) in Seattle!
We've tried the grill beef and combo. The bread and vegetables are fresh, and the meat is marinated beautifully.
The staff are very very nice and caring. We always ask for extra Thai chillies, and they accommodate with a smile! The last few times they have been understaffed, but they were up-front about the wait time, so please be patient it's worth it!
Our first time here and we were greeted very kindly. The server/cashier was very kind and helpful. We ordered 2 banh mi’s (Special and Roast pork). We both enjoyed our banh mi’s and would likely come back to try other options!
An instant favorite! Cannot wait to come back and try more! The friendliest and most inviting service, and such soft bread and incredible flavor in the tofu bahn mi. The prices are also very affordable!
We got the tofu stir fry and five spice tofu sandwiches and they were both some of the best sandwiches we have ever had. The tofu was wonderfully flavored in both, the pickled vegetables had a perfect amount of acidity, and the bread just put it over the top. We also got some buns for dessert which were so soft and fluffy. The Thai tea bun was my favorite, but they were all fantastic.
Sounds like it can get busy at times, but definitely worth a wait!
First time there and will go back soon! Good food and great service. The highlight is the bread!

FOOD:
1. Banh mi – special combo (Vietnamese meat loaf slices) $8.50: 5 Star - OMG THE BREAD WAS AMAZING!! I think they make their bread in-house as all their pastry/buns are. The bread has the nice crusty exterior with pillow soft and light interior. It’s the perfect bread LOL Great ratio to bread, meat, pickle daikon/carrots, and herbs.
2. Banh mi – grilled pork and fried egg $7.50: 5 stars – The bread is that good that I have to say it again – AMAZING! Like the combo banh mi, the ratio of filling to bread was perfect. The pork had great flavor and the egg was a good compliment.
3. Special of the day: Steamed bun crunchy pork belly $9.00: 4 Stars – Great little 4 bao buns – so uniform that it makes me think it was store bought. Either way good ratio of bread, sauce/spread, pickled veggies, and pork. My only ding would be if they provide you with a bigger piece of crispy pork belly. They provide you with two thin slices.
4. Daily special: Bun Bo Hue (Spicy beef and pork noodle soup) $14.00: 3 Star – I was so happy they had Bun Bo Hue! The flavor was great, and they gave me the spice level I wanted! However, Bun Bo Hue usually consists of multiple slices of beef shanks, oxtail, pork hock, sausage, and pork blood. I got a slice of meatloaf slice, one pork hock, and one beef shank… Despite the flavor, I probably wont order this again. The banh mi is definitely the way to go.
RESTAURANT / MENU:
This restaurant has been on my list to visit for a while but heard there is usually a line and sells out of items early. We finally took a risk and go for lunch the other day and it was pretty dead. The restaurant is a free-standing building immediately off the 99. You cant miss it though since its this bright yellow little building. Inside it’s a nice, clean, small restaurant.
The menu is pretty straight forward. You can find all their banh mi options on the tv screen behind the cashier, two chalk board with their daily specials, and a bunch of large studio-quality photos that list their rice and noodle options.
SERVICE:
There was one person working the cashier. He was very helpful and friendly – he’s also the person that will take your order at the cashier and makes the banh mi. There were folks in the back but there isn’t really much interaction.
